The key to any successful implementation of an MIS is Project Management. At Shuttleworth we have identified and utilise a proven methodology for our implementations which all stem from our goal of ensuring that the client can identify a clear return on their investment of time and money.
 
Even before an order is placed our team gets a detailed understanding of the business as it stands as well as to understand its desires for the future. This enables us to agree clear objectives for the project and leads into the detailed planning stage once a clients’ intentions are confirmed. The work at this point is crucial as it will help to determine which of the many possible ways the system will be implemented.
 
The next stage is to create the system in such a way that our client can then thoroughly test it through all of the processes required before we go through the intensive training with each user immediately prior to the go live.
 
Much of our training is done on site but there are certain elements within an implementation where it is better in terms of trainee concentration and more cost effective to deliver the training remotely using tools such as GoTo Meeting.
 
The implementation project will have a defined go live. After the Go Live date we have a policy of continually reviewing your use of the system with the direct intention of ensuring that you are reaping all of the benefits from the system that you had identified at the start of the project.
